Well, hello! Fancy meeting you here.

Oh! You’d like to know more about me? Well, the first thing I should probably tell you is that my name is Jenna and I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).

Why did I choose to be a therapist? Good question! Originally, I didn’t. I wanted to be a teacher, and then a firefighter, and then a paramedic, and then a million other things. That was until I realized that therapy was the only job that would have the lasting, positive impact on other’s lives that I was looking for. I didn’t just want to help people...I wanted to help people in a way that would stand the test of time. So I became a therapist.

I love my job and working with my clients. I look forward to each day and each session. If saying all this seems cheesy and informal, that is because I am. If I am going to help my clients feel more comfortable in their skin, then I have to be able to do that too. Life is meant to be engaged with, not observed remotely from behind a glass screen (no Covid pun intended, although that was isolating too).

And yes, that is me kissing a giraffe.
