What does Atlas Psychotherapy offer?
Atlas Psychotherapy offers virtual psychotherapy sessions by a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) for those seeking help for the following:
- Fear of Failure
- Perfectionism
- People Pleasing
- Spiritual or Death Anxiety
- Autism in Teens and Adults (13+)
- Couple's Therapy for relationships with ADHD/ADD + ASD present
- Identity Confusion
All sessions are a full clinical hour (50 minutes) and conducted through either a video platform or phone call (client's preference), where the video call is done through a PHIPA compliant video software. The therapeutic modalities are tailored to each client and can change based on the client's preferences as therapy progresses. The modalities that I tend to draw from include:
- Emotion-Focused Therapy
- Narrative Therapy
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
- Psychospiritual and Psychodynamic Therapy

Why is it called Atlas Psychotherapy?
The noun "Atlas" has come to refer to many things: a mountain range in Africa, a map of the world, a star system in the pleiadian star cluster, and - most importantly - the Greek Titan who was given the punishment of holding up the weight of the heavens on his shoulders. For perfectionists and people-pleasers, it can feel just like they are taking on Atlas' task. They are carrying a great burden on their shoulders that, should they shrug it off, will lead to the suffering of many. This practice was created so that those who carry the heavens might have a map, a guiding star, to help them lay down the mountainous weight that they have placed upon them. To allow them to be human in a world where we are often expected to be a God.
